Here we can see the initial dip when the report was published (purple circle), followed by a mean rally that took it to fresh highs.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1dnv5oam1a\"><span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/CkSEOLKZbn_uiePLZmo0Tb7gIbmtNreV707lCMj7tcRpObCjFyzZmHAonMKm5-z7LnMJaBO-GP16EEX3wbcrJkBbeDzlqGGzYUF5adhgpl08f_mm7ZdtZG9A-3k8fE3pn7RGo2eN\" class=\"CToWUd a6T\" width=\"505\" height=\"228\" tabindex=\"0\" \/><br \/>\r\n<\/span><span>Last Stand<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Today we will bid a teary farewell to the outgoing president of the European Central Bank, who will deliver his last interest rate decision before leaving office next week.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Super Mario Draghi has had a pretty good run as the ECB boss. He will always be remembered as the man who saved the European Union with a 2012 speech in which he stated that \"the ECB will do <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9rDeK_O9nJ8\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v%3D9rDeK_O9nJ8&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1572016394139000&amp;usg=AFQjCNE62rtNRfLJ5AcSa_IN6jda4TQ_mg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>whatever it takes<\/span><\/a><span> to preserve the Euro.\"<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>In this case, what it took was a whole lot of money printing. Yesterday was no exception. Most notable are the new bitcoin futures contracts on Bakkt, which smashed a new all-time high level of trading activity. A total of 640 BTC changed hands with an estimated value of $4.8 million.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/C3p0l2IONAtZDCwufjaUP3m1HGB7XtbZ8QQeiL2bA9ENZ-pxPk-qDvWB0MTr-A3S0hfcNuFyG9CR5wswDdp3tMFTClNevCt9RmIJwgNcanx7Ln83BRM4UW7zh-tVnpnsA5n2iASg\" class=\"CToWUd a6T\" width=\"439\" height=\"249\" tabindex=\"0\" \/><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Across the top <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptomorrow.com\/?s=cryptocurrency+exchanges\">cryptocurrency exchanges<\/a>, volumes saw a significant breakout. According to Messari data, the top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges saw about triple what they've been tracking over the last week.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>At this point, it's really unclear what caused the movement or how long the action will last. These things do have a way of snowballing and if we can build some momentum here it's very possible we'll be in for a larger movement up or down.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>However, if the activity was solely surrounding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNQBhaI_yKWsfi0RF7rx9ptpB35edg%3A1571930751435&amp;source=hp&amp;ei=f8KxXbjWF-KUmwWIlb6ACg&amp;q=Mark+Zuckerberg&amp;oq=Mark+Zuckerberg&amp;gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39j0i131j0l8.1617.4519..5117...2.0..2.295.2522.2-11......0....1j2..gws-wiz.....10..35i362i39j0i3.TcTIgPFyiac&amp;ved=0ahUKEwj4kbGwmrXlAhViyqYKHYiKD6AQ4dUDCAU&amp;uact=5\">Mark Zuckerberg<\/a>'s testimony or the downside breakout, it's quite likely that volumes could fall back down as easily as they rose.
